Their personal experiences with healing meditations, inspired Katie to share the bounty of Kundalini Yoga with others. She completed teacher training in 2005 with Guru Anand Kaur and was given the name Kirti Kaur by Nirinjan Kaur. They attended several conferences with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, Gary Kraftsow and many more renowned teachers who continue to inspire her practice and teaching. Kundalini Yoga is the Science of Awareness, an ancient technology for maintaining balance of the body, mind, and spirit. According to this tradition, Kundalini Yoga will help strengthen the glandular system, the nervous system, and the circulatory system; expand the lung capacity and eradicate emotional blocks that manifest as tension in the muscular system.
Kundalini Yoga is accessible for everyone regardless of age or experience. Kundalini Yoga combines conscious breathing (Pranayama), guided movement, meditation, simple postures (Asana), stretching, sequence (Kriya), rhythm, and sound (Mantra) to balance body, mind, and being. Remember who you truly are, love yourself completely, and accept yourself with all your potential.
This is the goal of Kundalini Yoga, to let your True Self blossom!
